All Children's Theatre
Musical Theatre

ACT Out East offers an all-encompassing musical theatre learning experienceAll Children's Theatre is a program for young people aged 8-18 that provides acting, voice, music and dance in a vibrant, company-based environment. The program runs for 15 weeks and culminates in a full-scale musical theatre production.  Classes, rehearsals, and performances are all held at the historic Vail Leavitt Music Hall in Riverhead, giving students a uniquely genuine theatre experience.

ACT Out East is committed to developing students' skills in the performing arts. We offer workshop-based classes in acting, voice, and dance while also rehearsing for our Broadway style mainstage production. Classes and rehearsals take place on the main stage and in the black box theatre. Each week students will have the opportunity to learn technique, hone skills, and foster their sense of collaboration and self-awareness. Students are divided into age-appropriate groups for classes in order to meet their needs.

No more running around to separate lessons -- ACT Out East provide your child with a comprehensive performing arts education!

Each 3-hour session consists of rehearsal and class time.  The larger company is split into smaller, age-appropriate groups which enables more in-depth study and individualized attention.  While one group is in rehearsal for our mainstage production, the other may be taking an acting, voice, or dance class, providing them with further skills in the theatre arts and an avenue for self-discovery in a creative, supportive atmosphere.

ACT Out East is run by performing arts educators and therapists who are dedicated to the development of creativity and self-esteem.

ACT Out East's classes, rehearsals, and performances are held at the historic Vail-Leavitt Music Hall, a fully restored 200 seat theatre in Riverhead, NY.

ACT Out East believes that each child is a star, and strives to help them shine!
